STS consultancy
Working closely with a partner-vendor, we offer risk assessment and screening services for STS operations. As we are not associated with any STS provider, our services remain independent and strictly in line with the OCIMF STS guidelines. Our services include vessel/ location/ provider screening services, preparation of STS plans, drills, STS training programs and simulators and incident reviews. The service offered is 24/7, with response time on screening being 30-40 minutes. We also attend STS operations on behalf of our clients as observers, to ensure same are carried out in line with Owners’ STS policy and the OCIMF STS guide. Independently, we also coordinate supply of hoses and fenders and set-up of STS facility in new locations.
We are now marketing portable chocks for secondary fenders that are suitable for tankers of all sizes.
Tank cleaning
We arrange and coordinate tank cleaning of bunker and cargo tanks. This is an A-Z service that includes arranging qualified supercargoes, economical yet effective cleaning chemicals, shore manpower where required, and final disposal of slops, sediments, sludge, waste oil and bunkers. We also arrange demucking for changing over from DPP- CPP and for dry-docking. The operations are well coordinated with regular updates.
Oily waste, bunker and chemical waste disposal
We offer this service through dedicated barges/ contracted vendors at OPL Singapore and in-port Singapore, Cochin and Sikka in India and some ports in China. Pricing remains competitive, and service standards guaranteed. We can receive DPP/CPP slops, cargo and engine room sludge both in bulk and in drums, bilge waters and off spec bunkers for debunkering. Where required, portable pumps can also be arranged. Attractive rebates on nett oil recovered can also be offered. Chemical slops are disposed in ISO containers in Singapore.
Bunker Investigative and Quantity surveys
Through our network of local surveyors, we conduct BQS/ BIS in over 50 countries as of July 2021. The survey is of excelling standards, with a detailed investigative analysis of bunker consumptions and detection of sleeve/ undeclared bunkers. Our clients have gained immense benefit of this service, as this allows for better tracking of on-board inventories. Reports submitted are comprehensive and prompt, including a monthly summary of bunker supply performance.
Vessel visits
We attend vessels on behalf of our clients to ensure a smooth port turnaround. Our attendance can be for cargo expediting, condition surveys and SnP inspections. Our cargo expeditors are experienced and based in India. With good local expertise, they ensure a quick port turnaround, smooth operations and no delays for vessel’s account. Our condition surveys cover all aspects of the vessel- her hardware, crew performance and operating standards. While we have our own survey guidelines and format for reporting, Client specific requests can also be handled professionally. For SnP and pre-charter inspections, we send a Master Mariner and a Chief Engineer so the vessel is well covered, with all deck and machinery items including their maintenance aspects reported. We also arrange pre-vetting inspections and assessments- at competitive rates through a panel of experienced, result oriented inspectors.
